Elementary School Services:
The Occupational Therapy and Clinical Services team provide group and individual therapy to elementary school youth to promote self-esteem, positive social behaviors, and attention skills that are necessary for them to develop effective learning skills and life skills.

Equine Facilitated Therapy:
An innovative program offered to youth with a special interest in horses and/or animals. Youth engage in horse care, riding skills, and community service to develop communication, self esteem and work readiness skills.

Female Teen Support Group:
Provides a supportive and educational environment for female teenagers wherein they can openly discuss social issues that plague their lives. Out primary function is to educate and inspire young female teenagers to work through difficult social issues, and move forward to become productive people in society.


Latina Empowerment Group:
The mission is dedicated to providing at-risk Latinas with solutions to pursue a successful and productive future. Young women develop successful strategies to decrease pregnancy, suicide, and increase their self-esteem.

Leadership Group:
Youth develop an ability to take personal responsibility for choices they make. Curriculum addresses anger management, alcohol and drug prevention, gang intervention, leadership skills and relationship issues.

LIFE Program:
OTTP’s Loving Intervention for Family Enrichment program offers youth and their parents the opportunity to develop skills to improve family relationships. The award winning Parent Project© classes assist parents in their ability to manage unwanted behaviors and create a positive home environment. Ultimately, this interactive program is designed to help youth succeed in home, in school, and in life.

“Men”toring Club:
A forum for young men to identify their role in the community and the family. Cultural sensitivity, decision making, self esteem and coping skills are strengthened through the process of dialogue and discovery.

“On a Good Note” Music Group:
A creative outlet for youth to learn about the impact of the music industry. Youth have an opportunity to create, record, and produce music.

OTTP Newsletter:
Students develop a voice amongst their peers through the creation and assembly of stories and artwork. The youth develop social skills, writing skills, and an ability to work within a team environment.

OTTP Work Experience Program:
Youth who have successfully graduated the OTTP 10 Week Life Skills/Work Readiness training curriculum engage in an intensive program focused on work-specific skills. The goal of the program is to provide the youth with the skills they need to successfully obtain and maintain entry-level work in the community.

OTTP Youth Center:
The OTTP Youth Center offers training classes, special community outings, support groups, and leisure activities after school, in the evenings, and on the weekends. A fully equipped computer lab is provided, as well as three private counseling rooms, a recreation room and two classrooms. Ultimately, the OTTP Youth Center functions as a safe haven for the youth.
