The Occupational Therapy Training Program (OTTP) has been serving at-risk, economically disadvantaged minority youth since 1975. OTTP currently serves youth ages 5-21 throughout Los Angeles County. The division was founded and continues to thrive on the principles of Occupational Therapy, which emphasizes that by engaging individuals in meaningful and purposeful activity, they can develop the skills they need to function most optimally in their life roles.

The mission of the Occupational Therapy Training Program is to provide young people with the skills they need to function effectively within the context of daily life.
